Morning dad, sorry i havent wrote on here for a while.
It was my first day back at work after having two week off, it was strange to come home and not have Poppy their to greet us, still feels surreal. Its taking some getting used too, keep saying "you three" and sharing the treats into three. Charley and Jessy have been alright i guess, a little quiet but we are trying to stick to our routine with them, best we can.
We are in Blackpool at the moment, Alisons dad has had a stroke so we came here Monday evening when we got the call. Been to see him at the hospital, hes seems to be doing alright, hes positive which is great but still have a long way to go yet.
Im going home today but leaving Alison here to be with her mum, coming back at the weekend to help where i can (not that i can do much at this time)
Hoping for more positive news today when we go see him before i head back home with the girls.
John is living with me as well at the moment (long story) hes ok but needs to learn to stand on his own two feet and get his own place (he agrees) will keep you posted on that one.
Being at the hospital brought it all back, made me think about you and if we could have done things differently, but it was different then, we were in COVID outbreak and resources where limited. I hope you know that we did what we could for you at that time.
You will never be forgotten, not while ever im around anyway haha.
I miss you dad, love you.
Keep your fingers crossed for Alisons dad, we all love him dearly.
